Second Annual Sculpture In Motion

Saturday, November 17, 201810:00 am - 4:00 pm

Saturday, November 17, 2018
Automotive Historian, Curated Tours 10 am – 4 pm
Vintage Cars & Classic Cocktails 5:30 – 7:30 pm

Throughout history cars have reflected innovation…kinetic art, industrial design, and skillful engineering created decades of rolling sculpture that enabled early transportation, elegant travel, and racing history. Automotive design is in fact a reflection of our imagination and what the future may hold. Design is everywhere, but a car is personal. The rich history that accompanies the commission of some of the most extraordinary vintage vehicles in our history is an inspiring message. Innovation is a theme throughout this exhibition, confirming that art, science, and technology go hand in hand.

During the day visitors of all ages will have the opportunity to experience the history and design of 12 -14 rare, one of a kind, classic pre- and post- war automobiles in this “dream car” exhibition.

Group tours by renowned automotive historians will be offered throughout the day, and guests will have the opportunity to be the judges and cast their votes for Most Artistic, Most Elegant, People’s Choice and the Young Connoisseurs’ Award.

The exhibition will conclude with Vintage Cars & Classic Cocktails, a private reception in which the Gardens will be transformed into a unique “showroom” for a more intimate viewing of the cars and recognition of the exhibitors.

John Barnes, founder of Cavallino Magazine and The Cavallino Classic, is Honorary Chairman and Guest Curator for the exhibition.

Tickets will be available soon!
