Working directly from nature (en plein air), in broad expressionist brushstrokes, noted American artist, Mary Page Evans relates her work to music; each element working in harmony to create masterful works of art. In essence, she wants her paintings to sing. Since the early 1970s, Mary Page’s work has been the focus of numerous solo and group exhibitions in galleries, art museums, universities, and U.S. Embassies around the world. Her work is featured in several public and corporate collections such as the DuPont Company, MBNA, the National Museum of Women in the Arts, the State Museum of Pennsylvania, the Delaware Art Museum, the Kennedy Center, and recently added to the White House collection.
