Minx Boren – The Essentiality of True Friendship

Minx Boren is a Master Certified Coach, credentialed through the International Coach Federation. Coach Minx is also a writer, poet, motivational speaker, and workshop facilitator. She is the author of four books of poetry and co-author of eight books for women. Her book, Healing Is a Journey – find your own path to hope, recovery, and wellness, was released by Blue Mountain Arts in May 2014. Her second Blue Mountain book, Friendship Is a Journey – a celebration of true connection and deep caring, was released in the spring of 2016. Minx is a longtime advocate of healthwise lifestyle practices, with a background in nutrition and teaching healthy cooking, and is passionate about the importance of supportive and sustainable food choices, practices, packaging, and distribution.

Minx has trained in such cutting-edge technologies as MBTI, the PRINT, Appreciative Inquiry™, Emotional Intelligence™, The Art of Convening™, Authentic Happiness Coaching™, and C-IQ® – Conversational Intelligence. Coaching is a process of inquiry and Minx’s favorite question, from a poem by Mary Oliver, is “Tell me what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?” Coaching is also action oriented and so her focus is on not only what it means to live a joyful, meaningful, and fulfilling life but also what it takes to do.

Minx is a Past President of Executive Women of the Palm Beaches 2013/2014. She has served as a Board Member of the Women’s Foundation of Palm Beach County since 2007 and as an instructor for the Arthur R. Marshall Foundation Student Intern Program for 10 years. She is a 2013 recipient of the Giraffe Award, presented by the Women’s Chamber of Commerce to women who “stick their necks out for others.” Coach Minx is a member of the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) and, in addition, has been awarded the status of Pinnacle Professional by the Continental Who’s Who. Most recently she has become an activist for Elders Action Network and is currently training to facilitate programs for EAN on sustainable living, climate change, and encouraging ecological consciousness and sacred activism.
